AND COMMUNITY SING-SONGS
The Mixed Choir started 13 years ago as the Vocal Fusion Choir. We have now re-branded as Vocal Fun to best describe the ethos of who we are. It's a choir with a big heart, full of friendship, fun and lots of laughter.
In 2016 the popular ladies choir was formed.
The choir director, Lynne, brings her years of being a professional singer and entertainer to the weekly rehearsals, bringing her musical expertise and much laughter.
The choirs are accessible to all, so there are no auditions, no music reading and no experience needed. Modern songs from pop songs to songs from the musicals. We also have regular coffee mornings and socials every month so come along and experience the fun of Vocal Fun!
Lynne also now provides care homes, lunch clubs, retirement complexes etc. with fun and engaging community sing-song sessions. Lyrics are provided so everyone can sing along to all the old favourites! To book, please send a message at the bottom of this website.

DO I HAVE TO PAY SUBSCRIPTIONS?
There is a monthly membership fee of £30 to become a member of the choir. However, we do offer your first session for free.
CAN I JOIN AT ANY TIME?
Yes, we are always learning new songs.
DO I HAVE TO PERFORM IN THE CONCERTS?
We usually perform at least twice a year, once at Christmas and our big charity concert in the summer. These are not compulsory but everyone always enjoys taking part.
Have you always wanted to play the piano? Come and have a free trial lesson. Lynne offers fun and relaxed piano lessons for those who have never learned or who have forgotten everything they did learn as a child! It's never too late to learn.
Lynne teaches those who wish to play for their own enjoyment and pleasure. The lessons are designed to give you a broad knowledge of how music works, not just which notes to play, which means that over time you will gain the skills needed to be able to start busking your favourite tunes!
Lynne has gained distinction at Grade 8 level and has previously taught for Yamaha Music School. For availability, please contact Lynne below.
